About us
The Poudre Fire Authority helps protect 230 square miles in Northern Colorado and more than $58 billion worth of property. The City of Fort Collins and the Poudre Valley Fire Protection District (PVFPD) are encompassed in the service area and make up the two governing organizations of the Authority.

The PVFPD includes the Town of Timnath, the communities of Laporte and Bellvue, Horsetooth Reservoir and Redstone Canyon, and other areas within unincorporated Larimer and Weld counties.
